Celebrating history and excellence at Chigwell.
Chigwell School, an independent school in Essex, needed a new website to celebrate its history, provide information for prospective students and serve its community of students and parents.

Chigwell School wanted to refresh its online presence. It wanted a clean and modern layout to showcase its past and present. Provide detailed information for a broad audience, and serve as a functional tool for current pupils and parents to get information and perform school administrative tasks.
We collaborated with Nalla, who developed the brand identity and designs. At its heart, the design layouts are clean with vibrant imagery and a modern colourway. We engaged with the Chigwell team to understand how the website had to work to meet their needs.
The website had to be intuitive and easy to use with navigation that signposts users to information quickly. For the Chigwell team, the CMS had to be easy to use. It also had to present Chigwell School's identity. Finally, the website had to be functional with integrations to different portals to support school administration.

We built a CMS that places content editors in control of layouts and formats. Content editors can construct any page anywhere on the website with over twenty layout blocks. The content editors constantly refresh the website because they have control of the CMS, and it works in a way that suits them.
We used animation to bring to life the identity of the school. The movements create a flow that allows users to navigate the site and learn about the school. The website must be an effective prospectus to attract prospective students by giving them a flavour of life at Chigwell School.
We queried Chigwell's processes to identify areas for improvement. One area was finance administration. We helped streamline the ability for parents to pay fees online and reduced the number of fields from 7 to 3.
